Many orphanages suffer from serious maintenance backlogs, a shortage of beds, and a significant shortage of living space. The demand for shelter exceeds current capacity, resulting in children ending up on waiting lists.

Many talented young people cannot attend school because their parents cannot afford the cost of education. Through the KiDS Scholarship Fund, these students are given the opportunity to complete a full secondary education.

€45 helps a student attend school for one month.
€540 covers a full school year.
€1,500 makes a complete three-year course of study possible.

Project completed:
The first phase of our project at Tunas Harapan has now been successfully completed.

Thanks to the support received, the KiDS Foundation was able to make a significant contribution to improving the boys' living conditions and health. The kitchen has been equipped with necessary appliances and furnishings, including a refrigerator, freezer, stove, mixers, rice cookers, and a set of cooking pots. In addition, air conditioning units have been installed, along with a high-capacity water filtration system, ensuring the boys have access to safe, clean drinking water. The boys also received an electronic keyboard for their music band. Music not only brings joy and relaxation but also allows them to develop their talents together; furthermore, performances generate income that supports the orphanage's internal economy.

Now it is time for phase 2: the renovation of the washrooms and toilets. These facilities are in urgent need of improvement and represent a crucial next step toward creating a safe, hygienic, and dignified living environment for the boys. We are once again calling on our donors and sponsors for this second phase. Every contribution, large or small, helps us make this next step possible.
