We recognize that our shared history is complex and sometimes painful. That is precisely why we choose dialogue, respect, and equality. Not to rehash old divisions, but to build connection and awareness together.

Jambatan Peranakan is the bridge that connects Dutch, Indonesians, Indos, Indo-Indonesians, the Chinese-Indonesian community, and people of different faiths worldwide.

It is also a special bridge: where Indos and Indo-Indonesians, once vulnerable or uprooted themselves, today reach out to children in need.

Here, past and present meet.
Here, memory is transformed into compassion.
Here, we help each other not out of guilt, but out of solidarity.

We believe in:
Gentleness without weakness.
Recognition without blame.
Identity without exclusion.
